The new MIRAM® GAGome kit – precise & standardized profiling of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs)
Developed to enable accurate GAGome measurements with the precision and robustness required to support translational clinical research in academia as well as diagnostic and pharmaceutical development programs.
The MIRAM GAGome Kit aims to be the quality standard for quantifying GAG disaccharides. The kit is customizable for the GAG analytes covered, varying LC-MS/MS instrument performance, Analytical Measuring Interval and a variety of matrices such as blood, urine or cerebral spine fluid. With accurate and reproducible results across kit configurations and studies, learning accelerates. Elypta is developing several configurations for a variety of needs and is open to engage with any researcher, diagnostic laboratory, IVD- or pharmaceutical developer interested in exploring the use of high-quality glycosaminoglycan kits in their projects.

Additional disaccharides, beyond those listed as quantified, are detectable under the specified chromatographic conditions while not supported by kit-provided calibrators, internal standards or quality controls.
MIRAM® GAGome Kit enables quantitative and compositional analysis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) through a standardized LC-MS/MS workflow. By combining enzymatic digestion, tagging, UHPLC separation and sensitive ESI-MS/MS detection using multiple reaction monitoring (MRM), the kit enables robust quantitative profiling of protein-free GAGs and their structural composition. With applications spanning lysosomal storage disorders, cancer, vascular biology, fibrosis and inflammation, MIRAM® GAGome Kit provides a powerful tool for exploring GAG metabolism and remodeling, studying research cohorts and identifying potential biomarkers, bringing scalable GAG analysis to a broad range of research applications.
A standardized kit for measuring the concentrations of non-sulfated (0S), 4-sulfated (4S), and 6-sulfated (6S) chondroitin sulfate GAG-derived disaccharides, the most abundant in human urine. The kit is designed for excellent performance within its Analytical Measuring Interval focused on elevated concentrations in urine. It is developed for UHPLC-MS/MS instruments with performance in line with Waters®Acquity I-class Plus Xevo TQ-S micro (where a protocol is available) and manufactured under Elypta’s ISO 13485:2016 certified QMS.
Product code: FRUOU-CS
See application note
This upcoming kit was developed to enable high-quality quantification of a broad panel consisting of 5 CS, 5 HS and HA analytes in versions for both plasma and urine at very low levels. The kit is designed to accurately and precisely quantify single digit ng/ml level concentrations and is developed for UHPLC-MS/MS instruments with performance in line with Waters® Acquity I-class Plus Xevo TQ Absolute XR (where a protocol will be made available).
Product code: FRUO-V3 (plasma & urine)
Most GAG measurement in the published literature is method-specific and difficult to compare across laboratories. The MIRAM® GAGome Kits were built to remove that variability — and they were developed to the standards required of a diagnostic product rather than those of a research protocol. Elypta's products are supplied for research use only.
