Elypta launches MIRAM® GAGome Kit for quantitative urine chondroitin sulfate analysis
Oct 8, 2026

Elypta, the Swedish diagnostic company focused on cancer risk, today announced its first commercial launch of a research-use-only kit based on its glycosaminoglycan profiling platform.

The MIRAM® GAGome Kit for Quantification of Urine CS disaccharides enables highly precise quantification of the three most abundant (>90%) chondroitin sulfate disaccharides in human urine. The kit is developed for UHPLC-MS/MS with all key reagents, calibrators, internal standards and consumables included. The kit provides the first fully standardized assay to quantify these analytes in one workflow in any research laboratory, facilitating explorative and translational glycosaminoglycan research in a range of disease areas ranging from oncology and Alzheimer’s to lysosomal storage disorders.

The kit is the first configuration in the MIRAM® GAGome Kit family with upcoming releases targeting broader profiling including heparan sulfate disaccharides and hyaluronic acid at very low levels in a variety of matrices, all with the same standardized quality.

‍About Elypta

‍Elypta is a Swedish diagnostic company focused on developing new biomarkers for cancer risk-stratification. The company pursues profiling of glycosaminoglycans (GAGome) as a new category of dynamic biological risk markers with the aim to enable an expansion of cancer screening and prevention. Elypta’s leading indication is lung cancer risk with a broader program targeting multi-cancer risk applications. Elypta also serves the glycosaminoglycan research community with standardized GAGome quantification kits for research use.
